Father's Day

For Father's Day we went to Toy Story 3 with the kids. It was Porter's 1st time going to a movie theater. He loved it. Here are my 3 boys!!!This picture is supposed to be at the end where Robbie is opening his presents but for some reason Blogger won't let me move it so it's a sneak peak of present time... Everyone in front of the sign.

They wanted to see it in 3-D. Here is Porter in his glasses.

We bought one big popcorn and soda for everyone to share. Here is Elijah waiting for the movie to start. I know I look gross. Just don't look at me.

Cara Mia in her glasses.

After the movie we went out to lunch and then came back home. It was Stake Conference weekend and there was this Leadership meeting that Robbie and I were both supposed to be at but the Bishop said that I could send Robbie and he could take notes for me. Robbie just got called as Elders Corumn President and I'm the YW's President so we have been very busy lately.

So while Robbie was at his meetings the kids and I got his presents ready. I saw on this blog to give your husband a Super Hero Package and I thought it was cute so that's what Porter gave him for Father's day. We bought all his favorite snacks and treats that he doesn't normally get and we labeled them and put them in the package for him.

The stuff inside the box.

It all wrapped up.

Also I bought him a grill. The one we have is old, it's his father's and it's charcoal and we never use it because it's such a pain. So I was going to get him a grill from Walmart and of course I was going to get the cheapest one. Well I couldn't get it home and unloaded so I asked my friends Alisha and her husband Tony if they would help me. Well Tony saw the grill I was going to get and he said you can't get him that one. So they went shopping for me and picked out this grill. They dropped it off while Robbie was gone. So when he came home it was sitting there in the family room. He had no idea and I couldn't believe I kept the secret from him for so long.

Since I knew I was getting him a grill, I had to get him tools that went with it.

Here he is getting home from his meetings. The kids were so excited that they stayed up until he got home. Here they are saying look look...

He's like why is there a grill in my family room. He was very confused.

He's checking it out.

Reading the instruction manual.

So he thought that was it. But we saved the rest of his presents for the next morning. Here they are all wrapped up.

He was so tired, and I even let him sleep in. We had Stake Conference but we were late, oh well. We spent the whole time in the foyer anyway, but at least we were there.

Elijah giving him his present.

He gave him a belt too. Robbie has had the same belt since before we were married, I think it's about time to give him a new one.

Kylie's turn. She made this alien at school and she wanted to give it to her dad.

and she gave him the grill stuff. I let them each pick one of the presents to give to him.

Now it's Cara Mia's turn. She wrapped it all by herself. She loves Blue's Clues.

She gave him the scraper thing.
Now it's Porter's turn to give him the Super Hero Box.

All the kids with their dad!!! They love him so much.
For breakfast I made him French Toast, he love it and I hardly ever make it for him.
And a egg and sausage quiche. He loves eggs too.

Posing with his new grill. It's not the 65 inch plasma tv he wants but hey it's something manly right?
Robbie and me after church. Only 9 more days to go in this picture.

Me!!! I don't look as fat here. Well at least I don't think I do.
