We put Elijah in a hockey camp sponsored by Nike and The Coyotes.
We went to pick up his uniform on Friday and then he started on Sat.
We got there and got him all ready then Robbie took him out on the ice. The coach said
just to leave him and he would fall down and cry but it's best if the parents just leave.
So we went to sit in the stands. First off he fell down dropped his stick and his gloves fell off.
He started to cry so loud we could hear him in the stands. It took everything in me not to go
and get him. But the coaches had older kids out there and they took two of the younger kids and
were their buddies. So his buddy helped him up and took his stick and gave him a 5 gallon bucket to skate with.

Once he had his bucket he did just fine. Every time he fell down he got right
back up again.
Then after about 20 mins they took the bucket away and gave him his stick back and he had to skate by himself. Which he did really good at. Of course he fell but he would just get right back up again. And of course he was slow but at least he could move around the ice.

I was so very pleased with him. Oh also there was Rocky the mascot from the Roadrunners there. That is Phoenix's minor team.
When he got done I met him at the door and we went and got Rockey's autograph.
I asked him if he liked it and he said that he did. He can't wait for next Saturday!!!
I would put pictures but for some reason I can't post them. Internal error or something.

Tiffany,
Thanks so much for taking time out of your Saturday to help me with the fun wall hanging. I have to go into town tomorrow so hopefully I can pick up the paint and finish up the project. Thanks again!!!
