St. Patrick's Day

So the kids told me about this Leprechaun who kept visiting the school, tipping over desks, leaving foot prints and all kinds of stuff. So I thought it would be fun to try to catch a Leprechaun here too. We made this trap to catch him and tried to trick him with gold coins. Kylie wrote the note. I thought it was very cute. He obviously did not fall for it, since he wasn't there this morning but he did leave us Rolo's and Lucky Charms for breakfast. Pretty nice since we were trying to catch him so we could get his pot of gold.

He left treats in the trap too. And a note but I didn't get a picture of the note.

He turned our milk green. Ok maybe he was a bit mad.
And the gross little guy peed in our toilet and didn't flush it. Gross!!! He also hid some of the kids toy in silly places.
I made treats for the teachers. Green M-n-M cookies.

Here the kids are this morning, they go to a charter school and have to wear red, blue or white so they couldn't wear green. I didn't have time to make a bow for Kylie so I made them little badges to wear so they wouldn't get pinched.
Kylie put a green barrette in her hair just to make sure.
It's a half day today because of Parent Teacher Conferences. So I printed out Leprechaun coloring pages for them to color today. I bought Strawberry Limeade for lunch and we are having potato soup and Irish Soda Bread for dinner. I don't know what for dessert yet. Maybe Lucky Charms Treats (Rice Crispy Treats but with Lucky Charms instead). Oh and I have a free rental at Redbox so we are getting Princess and the Frog. I'm sure we are the only people in America who haven't seen it. I want to watch it before I buy it. I hope we have a fun day.
