It seems like I go in spurts when I like to craft and when I get really burnt out. Well I'm totally burnt out for scrapbooking but I'm back into crafts. Today I made 14 bibs 7 for me and 7 for my sister who had a baby boy a few months ago. I found this blog it's http://www.lorigardner.typepad.com/
and she has the pattern there. And she is so awesome when I left her a comment on her blog with a question she emailed me back the same day. How cool is that?? Well it was so much fun but I forgot to buy the snaps oh well I'll go and get them one day when I get a chance. But I thought it was fun. Oh and don't look close at the stitching because I can't sew a straight line, let alone a curved line but it's hand made and it adds character right?
And my friend JoAnna's birthday is tomorrow and the thing I planned on getting her I can't find in this whole state and I tried to have my sister get it in Utah but they didn't have it there either. They do have a website but shipping is expensive. It's http://www.tilano.net/index.htm
I just love their stuff but I can't get it.
So I came up with this idea for her birthday instead. I hope she likes it. If not it's the thought that counts right?

And I made her a card that I got the idea off of http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ I made her one and my other friend Alexis one too since she is moving :(

Anyway, I just love doing stuff like this but I have to be in the mood. I haven't sewn in like 2 years. Robbie was so surprised when he came home and saw me doing it.
I don't think he was too impressed with all the crafts. He just asked "Are you almost done?"
Oh well I don't get into computers like he does either. He can spend hours just organizing his music for his Ipod and I don't even have one or know what I would do with it anyway.
But it's not like I just sat around crafting all day. I did two loads of dishes, 3 loads of laundry, cleaned the bathroom, and swept the floor 3 times plus when he came home the kids were fed and in their pj's ready for bed, so really he doesn't have anything to complain about.

wow those bibs are really neat! Are they made from cotton material? You could always use a giant safety pin until you get the snaps. I think you did a great job with your crafts! :) I just don't think men appreciate them like we do. I try to show Greg new patterns, fabric, or anything I've been working on. The answer is always, "Uh huh. That's very pretty/nice." He wants to care but he really just doesn't have an interest! :) haha
