More Crafts

I ordered this vinyl lettering clear last Sept and never got around to doing it. So I had my husband cut me some wood and I made my Halloween boards. We have not decorated yet. Which for me is very late but Robbie has been so busy with the floors and everything that it's just not a priority for us right now. But when we get back from San Diego we will decorate.

So I made my boards and that is all we have up right now. I think they look cute.

Also this last weekend I went to Women's Conference ( I know shocking) and I really enjoyed it.

It was mostly about service and Pres. Uchtdorf talked about how women have a desire to create and we should embrace that. So I told Robbie that he can't get mad because we were told to use our talents. Maybe that's why I'm back into doing this kind of stuff.

Also this is what our ward is doing for Oct. Chit Chat Finish That. I'm so excited. I think it will be a lot of fun and very useful. If you can't tell what it is, it's a board with nails in it to hang your stockings on. We had ours on nails on the wall so this is a big improvement.

Oh and I would like to dress up as a 50's girl for Halloween so if anyone knows how to make an easy (and I mean easy) skirt let me know.

Also I would like to make these fleece hats for Christmas for my kids but I bought a pattern fabric (with stripes no less) so I need to know how to lay out the pattern so I don't screw it up.http://www.marthastewart.com/article/polarfleece-hats?autonomy_kw=fleece%20hats&rsc=header_2
