Cute as a Cupcake!!

Cara Mia is in dance now and I haven't taken one picture of her yet. I have a ton of Kylie at this same age but none of Cara Mia. So I figured I would take some of her today at class. Isn't she so pretty. And getting to be so big!!! Too big if you ask me. What happened to my baby?

Here she is waiting for dance class to start. Notice the hands on the hips.

Here she is on the balance beam.
Jumping off the balance beam.

Jumping on the trampoline. It's not really a dance class more of a gymnastics and a little bit of ballet but I wanted her in tumbling and things like that. She is good at it and really enjoys it.

Doing the Bear walk.
Doing her favorite the crab walk. She does this all around my house.
While she is in dance class the boys and I hang out in the play room. Here is Porter waiting for her class to be over. He was eating fishies and drooling and boogery. But he is so cute.

He hears the music and he loves to dance here he is dancing.

My happy little boy.

Elijah just hangs out and plays with toys. He is a very good boy for this. And he always cleans up before we leave.
Porter playing with the pink kitchen..... should I be worried???? Well at least I know he'll cook for me when he gets older.

The boys playing together.

Kung fu Porter.

So yesterday I wanted to try this new recipe it's called The Pioneer Woman's cupcakes with sticky frosting (or something like that, I have her link on my blog. I love her blog.)
My frosting didn't turn out quite like hers. Mine wasn't as firm and more runny but oh well. I didn't have one until today and I thought they were a little dry but everyone seemed to enjoy them yesterday so maybe it was because they were a day old. But the frosting was sooooo good.
Here are hers on the paper and mine. Not quite the same but oh well.

Yummy!!!! I think Robbie ate 2 of them yesterday and the kids tried to get me to give them to them for breakfast, Kylie kept calling them muffins. (Nice try kid)

Here is Porter and me sitting on the couch yesterday morning, this was after he had cheerios.

I love his crazy hair and his cute squishy face!!!

My happy boy.
Anyway, that's what I have been up to. Elijah's birthday is next Sat and I have to make his deathstar cake (Scary for me) and his TIE fighter cupcakes. I just found a template for the TIE fighter wings and my friend Sandy let me borrow her mini bunt cake pans. And I couldn't find the Wilton Ball cake pan so she also let me borrow a glass bowl that can go in the oven so I'm going to try to do it with that. I might still have to carve it and I'm nervous for that.
I also have to make all the padawan costumes and Robbie's Obi Wan robe and the Princess Leia for the girls. I'm just doing little sheaths like cut the head hole in the fabric and let it just hang on the kids. but I'm trying to make Robbie's look nice. So we'll see how that goes. I'll post pictures even if they don't work out.

You are way too ambitious! Costumes and homemade cakes...sheesh, you're making the rest of us look bad!
