So I didn't blog yesterday, but I was so busy I just didn't have time.
Saturday was so much fun,
I woke up to Kylie making pancakes for the family. She pulled out the Bisquick and followed the recipe and made them all by herself. I did cook them for her.
Then we watched the 1st session of conference.
Then we took the kids to hockey, I told Kylie you are going to fall down but you will be ok and just get right back up again. I helped get Kylie ready and Robbie got Elijah ready, my friend Jen met us there. I watched for about 10 mins then Jen and I left to go to the scrapbook convention. I didn't feel too bad leaving Robbie there with the kids since next week he is going camping for 3 days and leaving me alone with the kids and I have to take them to hockey all by myself next Sat. (well my friend Jen is sleeping over on Friday and she said she would go with me to help me)
The scrapbook convention was fun, Jen had a 25.00 budget and I had a list of stuff I wanted, but she helped keep me on track, I think I didn't even spend 100.00 it was my cheapest excursion ever. The stuff I did buy I really wanted and I had plans in mind for it so it wasn't just buying to buy.
Then after that we went to Firebirds for dinner (OH MY GOODNESS!!!) I love that place, Robbie and I went there about 5 years ago and he didn't like it for some reason, I loved it but we never went back so I asked if Jen wanted to go. She really liked it too, so I don't know why we don't go there more. I got pasta with chicken and bacon and a cream sauce, Jen got a club sandwich on jalapeno cornbread, both were delicious. And the bread they serve is so good.
So after that she dropped me off at my car and I headed home. I got home about 5:30 so Robbie was a little late for Priesthood session but not too late.
Sunday was fun too, I woke up to Kylie making waffles, this time she was cooking them. I told her I loved that she wanted to cook but she needs to cook with adults around.
Then we watched conference. I made homemade buns for BBQ chicken sandwiches. I also made strawberry jam and turtle cookies.
After the last session of conference I had a meeting with my presidency and the bishop, then Robbie had a meeting with the scouts for his camping trip so it was a pretty busy Sunday.
Today is Fall break and we are probably going to the library and Walmart. That's all I have planned so far for today.

I'm impressed you spent less than hundo at the convention! That is NOT easy to do.
