RESPECT find out what it means to me.

Today both (yes both) of my kids got the respect award at school.
This means that they show respect to the teachers and kids at school.
I knew Kylie was getting it but I had no idea Elijah was. When they called his name I
looked at his teacher and said "Both of them?" and she said "Yep you have respectful kids"
then I walked by Mrs. Brothers(Kylie's teacher from last year) and I said "Both of them got it!!"
and she said "You must be doing a good job" (now I wouldn't go that far)
but I was so surprised and happy with my kids.
Today is a half day and then next week is fall break so it's a good way to end this term at school.

Today we also are registering them for Kids First Hockey (both of them Kylie wanted to do it too). Hockey starts tomorrow, we'll see how it goes. Last year Elijah didn't like it (but his gear was all to big for him) but he asked to do it this year. And of course Kylie had to do it too.
I of course am thrilled that all of my brainwashing about how great hockey is, is finally working (even though we live in a state with 100 degree weather in Oct, we can always play hockey inside)
Oh yesterday's playdate/preschool was so much fun. I had a ball with the girls and 3 of them started crying when their mom's came to get them. (that is the best complement to me, that they don't want to go home)
It was a lot more fun teaching 5 kids than just one, (not that I don't like teaching just Mia) but they all have different ideas and do different things so it's more interesting. The whole time I was thinking I should do this for my job, just a preschool out of my home for a few kids ( I wouldn't want a ton) and maybe next school year I will. But we all had a blast!!! Me probably the most out of all of us.

I had no idea you were such a hockey fan. I hope that your kids enjoy playing.

Love Kylie's haircut! It's really cute that length!
