I'm sorry to brag but I'm so happy. I got on the scale this morning (even after my day out with my friend Julie and having a cheat day) and I always say my goal weight while I'm standing on it and then I looked and yep there it was!!!! I'm so excited.
But more about yesterday my fun girls day out.
I went to our wards swap yesterday morning at 7am and I found Kylie a cute church dress and some t-shirts and a skirt and a pair of shorts. And like 3 pairs of pj's. And I found some metal containers to organize my scrapbook stuff. It was a lot of fun.
Then I met my friend Julie in town at T.C. Eggintons for breakfast. I had an omelet with chicken (big surprise) broccoli, (even bigger surprise) and cream cheese in it. Oh it is so good.

Then we went to the Scrapbook Barn in Gilbert (I think or Chandler) and oh my goodness it is my favorite new store. I just love it. I found all the paper I'm using to make my Christmas cards and paper to make an advent calendar and paper to make a cute Christmas album. Anyway it was awesome!!!

Then we went to Costco (of course) then we went to Bed, Bath and Beyond and she got me these really cool cupcake, cake makers. Thanks Julie!!

Then we went back to her house and had pound cake with chocolate ganash and Banana's Foster for lunch (healthy huh???) If you have never had Banana's Foster it is so good. It's banana's sauteed in butter and brown sugar and then you flambe them with Rum. Neither me or Julie could bring ourselves to buy the rum so we sent her husband to get it. In Chandler he was in our bishopric so can you imagine one of the bishopric buying rum at the store. But hello it all cooks out and we only put in 1/4 cup and divided it between 8 people so I'm sure we were fine. But I used to get it all the time when I would go to Show Low to visit my grandma, on Sunday (yes, Sunday) we would go to breakfast at Honda the casino up there and get the buffet and they had shrimp, crab legs and Banana's Foster, she moved to Flagstaff so we haven't been up there in years and so I haven't had it in years, and I couldn't bring myself to buy the rum so I couldn't make it myself at home.
Anyway, another funny story about alcohol, this year for Christmas presents I wanted to make homemade vanilla extract for presents, buy you have to put the vanilla beans in Vodka and I would sit there at Costco next to the vodka and I just couldn't put it in my cart. I know silly, so needless to say people aren't getting vanilla this year.
Then her two daughters in law came over and we scrapbooked for a while.
Finally she took me home and on the way home I went grocery shopping at Wal-Mart (which I haven't been there since Aug, so busy and no time)
Then I came home. I missed my kids and husband so much. When I pulled into the garage Robbie was waiting at the door for me and I was so excited to see his face. I'm hardly ever gone all day (even though it was so good for me and I had a ball) it was nice to be home.
Cara Mia has croup and was on the couch and she woke up when I got home and she was so happy to see me. So I picked her up and just held her for a few hours just relaxing and enjoying being home.
What a fun day!!!

Don't worry about not doing the vanilla thing. When my mom was still alive, she had me do that one year, and I hid the bottle of vodka with vanilla beans in my lower china cabinet because I didn't want anyone to see it. You were supposed to shake it each day. Well, it never did turn into vanilla, and I ended up throwing it away...all I had after several months was still vodka with vanilla beans. Anyway, congrats on reaching your goal weight. When I have enough money, I'm going back to Weight Watchers--the only thing that has ever actually worked for me, even though at my age I will not expect or want to get back to my marriage weight.
Congradulations Tiffany. That is awesome. I think it is so great that you thought of your goal weight each time you stepped on the scale. Yea for you.
You are an inspiration Tiffany! Congratulations! I think you need to climb up on your roof and shout it really loud or they need to have a big assembly where everyone cheers and gives you high fives! haha! Yahoo!
