We went one last time on Thursday to Sea World again, Kylie didn't want to go, she wanted to stay home with Nana and Grandpa.

So we went and I finally got to go on Atlantis (which by the way was terrifying!!!!)I went with Elijah which he was so brave that he wanted to go. I don't think he knew what he was getting in for, I think he thought it was going to be like the river rapid ride. We went down the first hill and I asked him if he was ok and he said yes. They they take you on this elevator thing and you go on a ride down the back of the Atlantis and there are 2 big hills and some turns and stuff. Right before we went down the hill he looked out and all you could see was sky and he said are we going to fly? I said no we are going to go down. After the back part of the ride I asked him again are you ok and he said no, I then asked him if he wanted to do it again with Robbie and he said no, never again. (I agreed with him). I haven't been on a roller coaster in, I don't know since probably 1996 or so (Seriously) and I forgot how scary they are.

Normally I wouldn't buy the pictures because they are so expensive but look at his face!!! I just had to get it. He was so scared. But he didn't cry and he didn't ask to get off. I was so proud of him.

Then we went to get our pictures taken on Shamu, I saw some that our friends had done a few years ago and I have wanted them ever since.

I don't really remember the rest of the day but I know we went to Shamu again and the dolphins and then I think we went home.
That night we went back to the beach, but it was cold. I hung out with Porter for a while then he started to get really cold and Cara Mia was cold and tired , but she wouldn't leave, so I took Porter back up to the condo.

Robbie and the kids stayed down there for a long time. Mia ended up falling asleep on the beach with a blanket over her.
Then the next day Friday we went home. This is my Grandma with Cara Mia and Porter the morning that we left. Kylie and Elijah and Robbie were still asleep.
On the way home our tire separated, so we had to change it. After it separated Kylie asked why didn't Heavenly Father bless us? We said a prayer. I told her he did bless us. We didn't get hurt, just because we say a prayer doesn't mean bad things aren't going to happen but we are safe.
Robbie just took the tire in yesterday to discount tire to get it fixed. And since he isn't the most um.... well it ended up costing us $200.00 for new tires!!! Which I think is just ridiculous . I emailed the company and let them know I didn't agree with that at all.
So they called today and I told them that they need to stand behind the products that they sell. If I go to Target and buy a toaster and it breaks then I take the toaster back and they refund my money or I get a new toaster. Well two of the other tires we bought from them were rotted too. So we paid to get them replaced even though they had a 60,000 mile warranty and we have only had them for 3 years and have gone at the most 20,000 on them. I also let them know that we put our lives in their hands and trust them by purchasing their tires and they endangered my family's lives by selling us crappy tires. (by the way they don't sell those tires anymore, so they even know they were crappy). Well after all of this the guy said he would refund us 100.00 of the money, so we are pretty much just paying for balancing and all that crap. I wasn't completely happy but at least they replaced the defective tires.
Ok on to happier things,
Kylie is back in school and going from 10:30am-3:15pm. Which is kinda a really nice time for us. We sleep in now until about 8am and then get ready to go and we are carpooling so on Mon and Wed I only leave the house once, so those days at least Porter can get a nap in.
Elijah is still in Preschool and doing well, His teachers are very impressed with how well he colors and how he takes his time and does his best work.
I was getting worried because when I would ask him to write a letter he didn't know what letter it was. So I found some of his flash cards and I was reviewing them with him. and it's not that he doesn't know his letters, he recognizes them, but he doesn't know when I say write a "t" he doesn't know what letter. So we are practicing more. He can trace them and write them on his worksheets it's just when he is on his own.
I'm kinda worried because the school he is going to next year is pretty advanced and fast paced, and I don't want him to be behind.
Kylie by the way, we just had her parent teacher conference and she is doing awesome!!!! The teacher even has extra homework for her that is more advanced and she loves doing it. I'm just so happy she is so smart, it makes me look like I'm doing a better job than I am. I know I'm going to have to work with Elijah a lot more than I have been.
Also I have been trading with a friend of mine to go and volunteer at the school. Which I just love doing. Kylie loves me being there and I have so much fun. I would love to be an aid there (well in about 7 years, so we'll see)
Tonight is our craft group or "Chit Chat Finish That" and we are making those
Stocking hangers. It should be fun. I made pumpkin chocolate chip cookies.
Which I don't like (so better for me, to not eat them) but I hope everyone else does.
Oh and I cut Kylie and Elijah's hair.
I think it looks so much better.
I think it looks so much better.

Cute hair cuts and pictures! Thanks for all of the updates! I hope your grandpa is able to recover quickly. It is so hard to lose a companion. I'm glad your kids are doing so well in school. Has Elijah been in preschool as long as Kylie was? I'm sure he will be fine. Some kids just learn some things faster than others. Perhaps letters and writing will never be his strength. But probably with more time and attention he will do fine.
Love,
Harmony
