My Birthday Present

For my birthday my husband got me Hockey tickets. Which just shows he knows me pretty well. However he did not come up with this on his own, I sign up for the Coyotes Newsletter and this girl Megan called me and she said they were having a special for people on the newsletter for $30.00 tickets for $20.00 and no ticket master fees. So I told her I would talk to my husband and call her back. So when he got home I asked him if we could go for my birthday and he said if that is what you want and it was.

So he called her back and got us the tickets, we also got free hats and posters.

I asked my friend JoAnna to watch the kids for us and she did (which was wonderful for her to do).

So we went to Chili's for dinner (my favorite) and then to the game. We ended up being like 5 mins late and then we had to go to pick up our hats before the end of the second period so we left the 1st period when there was 2 mins left (and the Coyote's scored of course, while we were in the elevator) then we got our hats and Robbie wanted to get me a hot chocolate but the lines were so slow!!! So we didn't get back to our seats until half way through the second period. I'm like hello am I going to watch any of the game.

It was a good game, I don't know if the coyotes are a really bad team or if them and the flames are both bad but the score was 1 Coyotes to 3 Flame and they took out the goalie to add another player and with 10 seconds left the Flames hit the puck from clear across the ice and it went sliding right into the goal. So we got creamed. 4 to 1. but I don't really care I go to watch the game and I love the Coyotes no matter what.

This is a picture of one of the few fights that there were. I know I would not be a good team sport player, I would develop a very bad potty mouth and get in a lot of fights. So good thing I don't play.

I think next year for my birthday I want to get a bunch of friends and go as a big group. So start planning!!!

My grandpa is home now, they decided not to put him in the nursing home for 2 weeks. So it's so good my Aunt is there with my grandma, you can just tell in her voice that she is having a very hard time and trying to be happy and strong but I'm so glad my Aunt it there. She made them dinner and is going with them to the dr and stuff so we can figure out what is going on. Now they think he has dementia and we don't know if he is going to get better or not. I feel so bad for my grandma. Please pray for her to be strong and have the strength to deal with this.
