Chit Chat and a trip to Ireland.

So for FHE Kylie and Elijah wanted to teach the lesson, they taught us what they learned on Sunday. Kylie really liked it, and Elijah got all shy and didn't end up wanting to do it.
Robbie ended up helping in the end, it was a fun and interesting FHE, and different for once instead of mom doing all the talking. And hey at least they are learning things at church. (and since I teach Kylie's class it's a tad bit of validation)

Then, today at Kylie's school they had their cultural fair, we were assigned Ireland, since Robbie's heritage is from there. We made a poster, and I made chocolate cake with potatoes in it. The original recipe was very dark, only 1/2 cup sugar and I'm making these for 1st graders, and I hate to waste food and I wanted them to actually eat them, not taste them and throw them away, so I added extra sugar and vanilla extract. I also added to the frosting, because it was pretty much just dark chocolate and cream, so I added powdered sugar and vanilla to that too. They were a big hit. Kylie handed them all out. There was one left on her plate and I said save that for you, then one of her friends came up and wanted one, so she gave it to her, I said why don't you share, and her friend just looked at me and walked away with the cupcake. I thought that was kinda rude, she could have shared since Kylie gave her the last one, but whatever.

So this is what I did at CCFT this Sat. I got this album at Michaels, in the clearance for $2.99. That included the embellishments, the paper and the chipboard. I thought it was a pretty good deal. I need to add the journaling. It's a book about my favorite things, my friend Maelynn helped me figure out the embellishments, I love embellishments I really do and I have a whole room full of them, I just don't know where to put them or what to do with them, so I give all credit to Maelynn for the embellishment placement. Love you!!!
My family of course
Kylie and how good of a sister she is, she shares and plays really well with her brothers and sister. And Robbie and holding his hand watching our kids play.
Elijah and how sweet he is and he always puts his mommy first. He is very thoughtful of others. Porter and how sweet he is (he is a trouble maker and always into everything) But he is so cute.
Mia and how she is so sweet and cute and loving, And I love this picture of Robbie and me, and how I look sassy in it.
My kids are for sure one of my favorites, especially when they are getting along.
This is the back cover.
So I need to add the journaling.
This I made when I went to the Creating Keepsakes Convention. It was a make and take and I added the pictures to it. I think this will go in my bedroom, or maybe my living room when it's done being painted (whenever that may be, since we started like um..... in Aug and it's still not done.)
This is a kit that I bought there. I'm going to put it in Mia's room. Since I want her room to be pink and brown. I'm going to put pictures of her in her dance clothes in it.
These two last kits are by Quick Quotes!! It's one of my favorites, they make kits to display your pictures, instead of just putting them in an album you hang them up. These both are on Canvas so it is for display. They are having a big retreat in Nov and it's in North Scottsdale and I so want to go. I keep bugging Robbie to let me go, we'll see if he gives in. Cross your fingers for me.

You're so funny, Tiffany!
I didn't do a THING to help you on your cute little project! You were a woman on a mission on Saturday and finished SO much! Good job!
But I love you too!

very nice, that is such a cute idea. I think I may try to find some of those kits, and do them this summer with my kids. We have so many pictures, and sadly they are all on my computer hard drive!!
Or my blog!

I really wonder how good they were, it's bugging me. Maybe I will have to try baking them! Love the projects. I have done one of my kits but still need to do the dancing one, same as yours. I loved going, definitely count me in next time!!
