Well we left Thursday after Robbie got off work. We met our friend Dave (who was visiting from Washington) and his daughter Joy (who is about the same age as Porter)for dinner and then we were off. We drove to CA and only had to stop twice once for a potty break and once for gas. We drove right up even with out a GPS we had mapquest. What would we do without it?? I have no idea.
Anyway, so we met my sister Monica and Marlise there the rest of them were shopping and other stuff. We were sharing a unit with Marlise and her husband Nate and their two kids Tannen (2) and Kyler (2 months).
It was very nice. Here is the main room.
and here is our bedroom.
So we all crashed since we got in about midnight. Then the next morning we had all the kids take a bath in Marlise and Nate's bathtub. They had the master suite.

Kylie, Elijah, Cara Mia, Tannen and my brother's daughter Kate were all in the tub together.
It was nice Marlise gave them all baths every day we were there.
Then we went to my friend Alexis' Mom's house. She just happened to be in CA at the same time as we did. And her mom only lived like 30 mins away so we went over to her house to let the kids play and to catch up. It was so good to see her it seemed as no time had passed and we just started talking.
Then we went back to the condo to get ready.
Then we drove to the wedding location. It was in Dana Point which was right on the ocean.
This is my sister Corinne and Kylie and Cara Mia. Kylie just loves Corinne. Since the time that she lived with us. And she misses her every day. She even has pictures of her in her room. So she was so happy to spend time with her. Corinne had never even met Cara Mia (well she saw her at my mom's funeral 3 years ago but she was only 2 weeks old so that doesn't really count) That was pretty much the last time I had seen most of my family except Monica and Michelle.
We were suppose to help decorate and set up the place but since there were a bunch of kids there. I was mostly in the wrangling mode. We tried to keep them at one table so if they destroyed it, it was only one instead of the whole place.
This is me in my dress with my bolero that was so frustrating to make.

And here is Robbie before we got Porter all dressed in his outfit. Doesn't Robbie look so nice in his suit. He doesn't usually wear it but I think he looks so good in it.
This is my sister Monica (the bride obviously) and my kids. Kylie wasn't the flower girl (and she was in the last wedding we were in ) so I think she felt left out and I wanted her to know that she was special too and Monica was glad she was there.
Here is another picture of Kylie with Corinne. I think it's good for her to get to know my side of the family since she never sees them.
Here is Cara Mia and me. Just waiting for the ceremony to start.
Daddy and Porter!!!
Cara Mia helping Porter walk she just loves doing this and actually at the reception he took two steps!!
Our Family all dressed up and looking nice. It was nice to have a family picture where we all were in nice clothes and had our hair done.

Oh do you notice someone missing...... Kylie didn't want to be in any pictures (I told you how she felt left out) so she said she wasn't a part of our family and didn't want to be in the pictures. She was hiding behind me the whole time..... Bummer because it would have been a nice picture.
This is all the bridesmaids which 5 of us were her sisters and then 2 of them were her friends. and the groomsmen they were Anthony's family and friends except KC (my brother) was one too.
Me and my sweet kids. This was during dinner and it was so cold there so I had Robbie's jacket on.
Kylie and my sister Michelle isn't she so pretty!!!!
Robbie and Porter again. They were best buds that night!
Cheers to the happy couple!!!
Elijah and Chandler my nephew at the reception they are almost the same age. Since most of my family has boys it was so fun for Elijah to have boys to play with. Most of the time we have girls around here.
My sister Megan her son is Chandler.
This is Cara Mia and me. All the kids were so worn out. We got to the place at like 4pm and didn't leave until after 9pm. Cara Mia crashed on me and so did my niece Kate but this was after her mom came and got her. I ended up taking the kids home and Robbie stayed to clean up. What an awesome husband. I don't know many men who would stay with their in-laws to help clean up a wedding. Oh and Porter and Cara Mia were fighting over my glasses because I had taken them off because I didn't want to have them on for the ceremony and pictures and all that.
And they thought they needed to hold them or something so I had to drive with my glasses half on and when we got to the hotel all the kids were asleep. So I woke up Kylie and Elijah and made them walk I tried to get Cara Mia to walk but she was so tired all she did was cry (and our unit was on the second floor) so I carried both of them as far as I could. (Along with my purse and diaper bag and did I mention that the dress was too long so I kept tripping) and I knew I wasn't going to make it up the stairs in that dress (with my hooker shoes on, I call them that because they have like at least a 3 inch heal.) and carrying two kids. So I set her on the bottom stair and tried to get her to walk but she just sat down and cried so I got up the stairs as fast as I could and set Porter on the floor in our unit and ran down and got her. So yes I left my two year old outside in the dark at night on the stairs. But I am only one person and I do the best I can. And she doesn't seemed to be scarred for life or anything.
