We are busy but having fun!

This week was crazy!!! Monday I baked and baked and baked and then that night we delivered cookie plates for FHE. I made 23 plates and I still was short somehow I didn't to give them to everyone I wanted to. We talked about why we give gifts at Christmas and how it's not all about Santa. I really am trying to get that across this year. Because every five seconds they decide they want something different for Christmas from Santa.

Then Tuesday I volunteered at the school for about an hour. Then took Cara Mia to the dr for another UTI. She has been having accidents again and she is scheduled for a VCUG on Monday and I didn't want to get there and have them put the catheter in and find out she had one and send us home. So Cara Mia and Porter and I went to the dr. Elijah had soccer practice and I had my Stampin' Up Card Club. So Robbie took Elijah and Porter and I took Kylie and Cara Mia. They are so good they just sat on the couch and watched the movie. What good girls. Then I took them on a walk. I was doing fine but then it started to get really dark and I'm like what am I doing out here by myself with two little girls. I don't want anything bad to happen to them. So I cut it short and we went back home.

Wednesday I cleaned and cleaned and cleaned some more. It was so trashed since I baked all day Monday and Tuesday I wasn't even home all day from like 10am until 4pm then I left again at 6:25pm. So I had a lot of work to do.

Then Thursday I took the kids after school to Fry's. They were having a really good sale from 4pm-11pm and they had cookie decorating and samples and stuff like that. So I thought it would be fun to go. And I saw like 4 or 5 people I know there too. Even the Bishop was there with 3 of his kids. Crazy like me I guess.

That night was our RS Enrichment and I actually went. It was so good. It was "Wise women still seek him". We went to one house and had appetizers then went to another house and had soup and then we went to the last house and there was the Nativity and they did some stories and songs and stuff. Then they had dessert. I of course didn't eat anything the whole night. I walked around with my shake. Hello I am in a wedding next week and I want to look nice and for the dress to still fit. It was fun to visit with other women in our ward.

I guess they were going to do no room in the inn, where we would get kicked out of the first house, then go to an empty house and then end up at the Nativity. But I liked what we did so much better. It was very positive and you could totally feel the spirit.

Then Friday I took Kylie to her school book fair before school, I had told her I would take her on Thursday after school but I was on the phone with the hospital and was so late picking her up that my friend actually grabbed her for me from school.

So we got a book then I went into town to get material for my bolero. I am in my sister's wedding and the dress is not modest and I have tried and tried and tried to make a bolero out of the extra material from the shawl that came with the dress but it's just not working so I bought some stretch velvet and I'm making the best one so far (except I can't move my arms, SERIOUSLY!!!!!) out of the stretch velvet so I can move. Then I went and dropped the dress off at David's Bridal to be steamed and make sure it's perfect. Then I took back the pattern I bought to make a different bolero out of because hello I didn't know they came in sizes and I bought a 16-24 size ooops. Then we saw Robbie for 3 seconds when I took him to meet his dad at Mimi's for lunch. Then I met my friend Julie at Ross so we could say hi. We miss her so much and Elijah and Cara Mia wanted to see her too.

Then we came back home. Whoo a lot to do with 3 kids. Then we picked up Kylie from school.

And I went and got my hair cut by Terin. (Thanks Terin it looks great!!!)
Then I had to take Kylie to a birthday party. And have I got a story to tell you about that!!!! I was driving down Honeycutt by the Catholic church and there was this police car parked in front of the church in the middle of the road. His red and blues were on but not his headlights or anything and there was nobody directing traffic or anything or blockades, So I'm thinking he's there to help when the Catholic church gets done with the Christmas thing they are putting on or something. So I slow way down and start to go by him and he gets out of his car and screams at me. "What are you doing?" I said "I'm driving" (obviously) He asks "Why" I'm like I don't know so I just sat there. Then he said "What do you thing I'm doing here?" I said I have no idea why you are here. He said I'm blocking the road. and I said no you aren't there is plenty of room to go around you. And he then says "Just back up and turn around".

Ok by this time I'm so upset I'm almost crying. First off if the road is blocked off then get out of your car and tell people to turn or something don't just sit in your car with the red and blues on. And all he had to say was" Miss I'm sorry the road is blocked can you turn around and go the other way?" He didn't have to yell at me and make me so upset.

So Kylie is in the back seat and didn't say a word the whole rest of the way to the party. Which by the way we got so lost on the way there I had to call my friend Virgina to help me out. And poor Kylie was like an hour late. So I'm driving back from the party and still upset and I pulled out in front of a car. Thank Heavens he was watching and swerved or I might not be here now.

So I get home and I just started crying and Robbie is like what is going on. So I told him and I said you better go get Kylie when the party is over I don't think I should be driving right now.
Then after all that my friend Sandy came over and we did a bunch of crafts that we are giving away for Christmas. Well if we ever get the vinyl. I ordered it before Thanksgiving and we haven't gotten it yet!!!

She was here until after 1am but we got a lot done.

Then today we cleaned up the house and went to Elijah's soccer game. He is getting so much better at it. He never picks it up and he is getting really good at dribbling it or whatever they call kicking it right in front of your feet as you are running. Well he is walking but whatever.

Then we came home and Robbie got a haircut and got the balloons blown up for Porter's birthday party tomorrow. Then we went to the ward Christmas party. Which was a lot of fun. I really enjoyed singing the songs and I know the kids did too. Then of course Santa came. Elijah jumped right up on him and he asked for a Wii this time (see I tell you he changes his mind every 5 seconds) Kylie tried to whisper this time too but I heard her say make-up and Santa said well I'll have to ask your mom about that one.

Cara Mia was so scared but so cute. She was trying so hard not to cry and she whispered Kitchen and jumped off.

Then we handed Porter to Santa and he just started crying and we all were laughing (not to be mean) but I have one of all of them like that.

Then we came home and finished getting everything ready for tomorrow. I made cupcakes and the decorations for them they are little cupcakes and candles to go into the cupcakes. He is having a cupcake birthday and his colors are blue and green.and finished my Christmas card they are all addressed and ready to go!!! WOO HOO!!!! I love them so much this year. And nobody understands them except me. But I don't care I made them and love them so much it's hard to give them away.

And for my family and Robbie's family I made perpetual calendars so we can all keep track of birthdays and anniversaries and stuff like that.

And I'm giving my class in Primary bookmarks with a candy cane for Christmas.

So we wrapped them all and I feel better I'm finally getting stuff crossed off my list!!!

Anyway, I know long post but we have been busy!!
