On Sunday we had Porter's birthday party. The reason we do it on Sunday is because more of Robbie's family can come on that day and since we hadn't seen them in a long time I wanted all of them to be there. His 2 brothers and sister had never even met Porter.
We had a cupcake party and his colors were green and blue. I bought this cupcake balloon online and I just loved it. It said first birthday and Porter loved it too.
I made a potato bar for dinner. Potatoes and chili and cheese and sour cream and green onions. I also made my salsa and guacamole.
It was a lot of fun about 30 people came. Robbie's dad, his 2 brothers and his niece and nephew.
This is Tony and his girlfriend Amanda.
His Aunt Karen and Uncle William came too and their kids, Olivia and Phillip and Olivia's son Brenden.
Then our friends Pam and Jeff and their kids came and Tyler and Laura (who just had a baby so I wasn't expecting her but I was glad she came) and their 3 kids. And Nana Ginger (Tyler and Jeff's mom) and then our friends from Maricopa JoAnna and her husband Pat and their kids and Maelynn and her husband Clark and their kids. So it was a full house but it was fun and not too crazy. These parties always stress me out. Will I have enough food, will the kids destroy my house, will everyone have a good time, will people feel left out if they don't know everyone.
Anyway, it ended up really good and fun.
First everyone ate since it was 6:30, Aunt Karen fed Porter, he ate a whole bowl of chili and then a little potato with chili and cheese. That boy can eat let me tell you.
Then we had presents which I had a book party and he got a ton of books, and I just loved that people wrote their names on the books. So forever we will remember who gave him which book. He also got some cool toys, a mega block tractor,
a webkin (which Kylie was more excited about than he was)
and a cool leapfrog letter game.
He also got a set of blocks which all he does is eat now but Elijah loves building with them and he will too when he gets older. He also got a elmo video which he will love. He's just starting to get into that kind of stuff.
Robbie and I gave him two outfits. Which I got at Costco for like 5.00 each and they are adorable!!!!
Porter and his stash!!!Oh no he's coming!!!!!
Then we had cupcakes.
Porter was so excited to get at them. He knew exactly what to do he shoved it right in his mouth and didn't make too big of a mess. He wanted all that frosting where it belonged in his mouth not all over his face.
Then people started to get ready to go. That is the bummer about having it on a Sunday night, and living in the middle of no where. People leave early.
But it was fun and I was happy to see everyone.
Then Monday we went to take Cara Mia to get her VCUG. Which checks to see if she has reflux like Kylie does. She did really well and even when they put the catheter in she only whimpered a little. Then they filled her bladder up with liquid and she has to hold it and can't pee. Well that's when she started to cry because they fill it up as much as they can and the kids have to hold it while they take x-rays until they say ok then they pee on the table. It is a very hard experience but she did good. She fell asleep in the car and slept for 4 hours. Now she talks about going to the dr and they hurt her pee pee part and she cried and she peed in a pink princess potty. Which is what they called it. She does have reflux it's stage 2 Kylie's was stage 4. So right now we are just going to keep her on the antibiotics and check again when she is 4. Sometimes they grow out of it and there is no reason to have surgery if it can fix it's self right?
Then today I went and volunteered at Kylie's school. I love doing that. Then I went to my friend Virginia's going away party. (I will miss her so much) then came home and cleaned cleaned cleaned!!!!!!!

Cara Mia helping Porter walk. He is doing really well. And he can stand up for a while now.
Then tonight it was Kylie's Christmas concert. And of course it's raining, and it started at 5:30 but they wanted the kids there at 4:45 so we left before Robbie even got here. How fun to take 4 kids in the rain and park in the mud and walk in the rain and mud to get into the building. Oh well. He got there right in time for her to sing. We left right after she sang.
And it was crazy even then getting out of there. This is her with Ms. Wechter
and this is her with Mrs. Brothers.
And I have finished all my crafts for this year!!!! WOO HOO!!! I finally got my vinyl and here is what it looks like.
This was sopose to be a gift for my friends but at the Enrichment night they gave out these.
So I'm so sorry all my friends in this ward. Please don't think I don't love you or care about you because I do. But I figured you wouldn't want two things saying the same thing. And now I'm out of time and ideas. I guess great minds think a like!!!
And this is what I'm making for the teachers this year.
