Walking and cute hats

I know weird title but kinda fun and it is what I'm writing about.

Porter is almost one now and he is walking with help of course he is so cute about it.

Every once in a while he will be standing and let go and stand for a couple of seconds then

realize what he is doing and sit down. I know everyone is always asking when is he going to walk.

Kylie walked at 9 months but never crawled. She rolled everywhere and I guess she figured that walking was easier than rolling. It was kinda cute though, she would roll in one direction sit up see where she was then roll in the direction of where she was trying to get.

Elijah walked at 14 months and Cara Mia walked at 14 months and 2 days. So I'm not that worried about it. But Porter loves to walk around if you are holding his hand. He thinks he is so big.

And I made those hats from Martha Stewart that I talked about a couple months ago. I wrapped the girls before I took pictures but I remembered before I wrapped Elijah's.

I even had a little material left over to make a scarf for him.

After I wrapped them. I thought I should have just given them to them. so they could wear them in the cold.(yes to me 60 is cold.) but oh well. They can use them after Christmas.

I also made my advent calendar. I have been wanting to make one for about 6 months now and I just couldn't figure out what to do. Well I saw one I liked and I used it for inspiration.

Here is mine.

I don't really know what to do with it. I want to put treats in it and a scripture or an activity or something but I haven't done it yet. I also had this cute snowflake paper that I wanted to use, like have them all be red paper with snowflakes and then on the day take the snowflakes off and show the day or have them all be the numbers and then put the snowflake on for when day passes. I don't really know but I wanted to use it. Obviously I didn't because I hadn't figured it out.

Also I'm going to hang it with red or black ribbon.
