We had a Tinkerbell party for her this year. She just loves Tinkerbell.
My friend Julie doesn't come to the kids parties. She would rather spend time with them on another day when it can be just her. So she came over the day before Cara Mia's birthday. She brought Porter a Star Wars onesie and a cute shirt that says Handsome Little Devil.
She gave Robbie a gift card to T.C. Eggingtons. And offered to watch the kids when we went. How wonderful!!! A Date!!!
Anyway here is Porter in his onesie. Robbie loved it (of course). Porter loved the tag.
and a pink and black one with hearts. She now has 4 new outfits so for the first 2 weeks of school she can wear all new clothes.
Here are the decorations for her party. We decorated the table and hung up balloons and streamers.
Here is the food I had for the party. I made a cake and cupcakes, and the cookie wands and the extra dough I just made cookies out of.
Here is her cake. I know it is not perfect but I thought it turned out pretty well. Please Cathy don't put it on cake wrecks. I made royal icing flowers and used that on the cupcakes and the cake. It was all made from scratch even the cake. I didn't have any yellow cake mix and I didn't want to waste the Tinkerbell cupcake cups with chocolate so you couldn't see them so I made a yellow cake from scratch. Well..... it's not yellow it's purple!!!! We had to match of course.
Cara Mia all decked out as Tinkerbell with her decorations.
Oh my friend JoAnna made Cara Mia some bows for her party. I just love them. I can sorta make bows but she is awesome at it. I really want to learn more. I can do the flowers but the bows are harder for me.
Then we played Pixie Pixie Tink (Duck Duck Goose) Cara Mia really liked this game. It lasted a long time but the kids were having fun and they all took turns.
Then we played Follow the Leader. This one doesn't show faces so I figure it's ok. Aren't they so cute!!!
Cara Mia with her cake and blowing out the candles.

Yummy (purple) cake!!
As soon as her party was over we all had to get dressed and go to Robbie's cousin's wedding. Ashley and Kal. They were so cute and looked great. The reception was beautiful and they had great Mexican food there too. It was fun to see more of his family we had not seen them in a long long time. I don't think most of them knew who we were. The cousins anyway, his aunt and uncle did of course.
One of the presents Cara Mia got was an apron and hat and oven mit and spoon to match the kitchen Santa brought her. She loved it and looked so cute in them. She is our little chef.

In Mommy's kitchen!!
In her kitchen!!

Porter is walking!!! Not all the time but he gets up by himself and will take a few steps. Then fall on his knees and then do it all again. He is so proud of himself and we love to watch him do it. We all clap and say Yeah Porter and he laughs and then gets up again. He is growing up too fast. I tell him everyday he is my baby but he doesn't seem to listen and keeps growing.

Wow I love the party decorations and tutus and wings! Did those take you long to make? It looks like you had such a good Christmas and birthday parties. Greg and I were in AZ for a week and wanted to visit but our days were so full we didn't get much visiting done. Not seeing you is my one regret of the whole trip!
K, I'm ready to make those cute little Tinkerbell skirts. You are just the craftiest.
