Saturday, after the dance recital I had a baby shower for my friend Sandy. She is due on the 31st so I was just hoping that she would make it until Saturday. Her colors were blue and brown, so I made blue and brown mini cupcakes. They are so cute and fun. I got the idea off of Bakerella. She has a blog.

First you make a cake and then crumble it and mix it with cream cheese frosting, then make little balls. Then let them setup in the freezer, then I bought a mold and put chocolate in them, then put the cake balls in there, let them set up then dipped the tops. It was easy and it makes like 80 so there were tons.

Instead of playing shower games (which I hate by the way) we decorated onesies and burp cloths for Sandy.

Here is April putting ribbon on a burp cloth,

Here is Susie working on a onesie.
We put ribbons on them, tie dyed some and then did iron ons on others. Sandy is going to have the most stylin' baby in the whole ward.

Here are some of the girls. We had a lot of fun ( I think anyway, well I did) we ate, chatted and crafted. What could be better?

It was so fun, Tiffany. I love parties at your house!
You really do know how to throw a party...for any reason! I love it!
It was a great shower!!
I'm not big into the shower games either:) I like your idea a lot. I keep thinking of new ideas for baby showers...luckily I live in a ward that has lots of babies...
