Our 8th Anniversary!!

Today is Robbie and my 8th anniversary.

It was a normal day we have planned to go to the temple on Sat to celebrate. I haven't been to the temple in like 3 years, since I was pregnant with Cara Mia, I know a long time and I don't really have any excuses except I haven't made time for it.

We did have something special for dinner, I made Low Country Boil again. We really like it and it's expensive but it costs less to make it than it does to go out. We can feed our whole family and have leftovers for about 30.00 verses at least 40.00 to go out.

Then I made Robbie a IOU coupon book. I don't think he was very excited. He was very nice about it but weird about it too. I wanted to get him a couple cd's from Deseret Book, I wanted to get him the Joseph Smith one and Called to Serve and there is a new one about Christ. But I haven't been in town in a while and so I didn't have a chance. Maybe I'll get him one this Sat when we are in town. He got me a Rascal Flatt cd. They are coming in concert and I wanted to go but we can't really afford it so he got me the cd instead. He thought of it all by himself. I thought it was very sweet for him to come up with that. He also is finally editing our wedding video. We have 3 of them and he is putting them all on one. So I thought that was my real present, so I was very suprised when he gave me the cd.

I'm so happy to be married to Robbie, he is such a blessing to me. He is so patient with me and he loves me even when I rant and get all upset. He is so calm and just waits for me to calm down. He works so hard for this family and takes very little for himself. He puts the kids needs and my needs before his.
I know that the Lord wants us to be together, which strengthens our family and our relationship.

I'm so blessed.
