After dinner Kylie wanted to give him his birthday present from her (we found these power rangers at Fry's on clearance for 4.00 so she picked him out one.
He loves power rangers, even though we have never watched the show not even once and I don't know how he even knows they exist but he does.
When Robbie got home,he pulled out some of his Star Wars stuff and Elijah got to pick a toy. Look at all these and they are still in the packaging. This doesn't even scratch the surface.
Elijah loves Luke so he picked Luke Skywalker.
Anyway, the kids had fun it seemed and nobody got hurt , even with all those boys with lightsabers.
Here are my kids in their costumes.
I think the costumes turned out pretty good. Kylie's is a little short but oh well.

Here is the cake and the cupcakes.

The littlest padawan, he wanted to color too. He ended up eating the crayon.
Obi Wan with the younglings. (if anyone doesn't want their kids face on my blog let me know and I'll black it out)
After the fun, which was making snow globes with star wars ships, and light saber training and destroying the death star (pin the x-wing on the poster) They had to use the force to open the garage (it took all of them working together to open it) Then Darth Vader was there, (our friend Clark dressed up as Darth Vader) Porter was so scared he started to cry.

I thought they would just look at him and we would get pictures with him but no....
They attacked him, poor Clark against 9 little boys with Lightsabers,
He had no chance.

At the end I reminded them that Darth Vader turned nice and we should not beat him while he was down. Clark was a very good sport about it all.
the padawans with Darth Vader!!!
Our Family in our costumes.
Then we ate and opened presents and did the pinata. Oh I don't have any pictures of the pinata. It was pretty pathetic, it looked like a silver and black checkered Easter egg. While we ate the adults did a Star Wars quiz. I got the questions off the Internet and I guess some of them weren't right. (Hello, like I would know this) Our friend Brody won. The prize was a candy bar and Star Wars stickers and a toy from Taco Bell. (WOO HOO) Then at the end we did cake.
Elijah with his death star cake.

Robbie and Elijah!!

Two of his friends stayed after the party to play Wii, they had fun playing Indiana Jones and Star Wars.
I do not know what I would have done with out my friends at this party. JoAnna helped me in the kitchen and helped get the food ready. She also helped dish out the food to the kids and suggested them eating outside (wonderful idea). She also helped with the opening of the presents she had the kids sit down and had it so organized with handing them out, so we knew what was from who, there is a reason she is a preschool teacher and I send my kids to her. Maelynn helped feed the kids too, and get them drinks and helped wrangle them, keeping track of 12 kids is a big job. And my friend Sandy helped when a little boy ripped his costume she sewed it back up. I have such wonderful friends and I really appreciate them and all that they did to help me. I think they saw I had bit off more than I could chew and they were so thoughtful to step in and help. Thank you guys so much. I can't tell you how much I appreciate it.

WOW!! What a PARTY!!! no wonder you were too exhausted to write about it earlier!!
What a lot of preparation that must have taken! I bet the kids had a blast! I'm so glad you had lots of help. Lots of kids any age can be intimidating and a handful. What fun!
You are the coolest mom ever. And it is no surprise that this party was such a success. You are so creative.
I finally remembered to check your blog for pictures! I'm disappointed to not see one of the pinata, but everything looked like so much fun. You are an awesome mom to go to this much work!
